Contributions

We need your help in order to continue our work of improving the Burleigh Street business community and making our neighborhood a better place to live and work

We are continually seeking grants and partnerships with local and federal governments to underwrite our work. Our successful efforts to that end resulted in Burleigh Street Community Development Corporation being listed by The Foundation Center among the top 50 recipients of foundation grants in the Metropolitan Milwaukee area.

However, we need the support of private citizens and supporters so that we can do even more. We accept cash contributions as well as in-kind donations of services.

Welcome to the Burleigh Street Community Development Corporation.

Officially, we are  a Wisconsin not-for profit corporation; but  in fact, we are  a coalition of residents and business professionals from Milwaukee’s Sherman Park area who are excited about our neighborhood and especially about the growing vibrancy of  our business district. We are working hard to re-energize the Burleigh Street Business District through partnerships with city, county, state and federal governments, as well as with private investors, local corporations and foundations.

We invite you to learn more about our efforts and join us as we
continue to Build Burleigh Street.
