"The Mosaic on Burleigh" Launch May 21, 2006 |

The weather was sunny and so was the mood of the over 300 people who gathered May 21 to celebrate the official launch of "The Mosaic on Burleigh Street." In addition to an initial spring clean-up, the event featured remarks by Mayor Tom Barrett, the unveiling of the first of many street amenities such as new benches, planters and trash cans, as well as the creation of a collective artwork that will be a permanent part of "The Mosaic on Burleigh." The weather was sunny and so was the mood of the dozens of people who gathered May 21 to celebrate the official launch of "The Mosaic on Burleigh Street." In addition to an initial spring clean-up, the event included the unveiling of the first of many street amenities including new benches, planters and trash cans, as well as the creation of a collective artwork that will be a permanent part of the Mosaic on Burleigh.
